Dr Rik Patel BDS (LOND) MJDF (RCS ENG) (GDC:178052)
Dr. Rik Patel serves as the Principal Dentist at Dentistry at 388. With over a decade of experience since qualifying in 2009, Dr. Rik brings a genuine and friendly approach to dental care. Outside the clinic, he enjoys exploring the world with his wife and two children, staying active with a Peloton, and indulging in the art of cooking. Dr. Patel’s comforting demeanor extends to ensuring anxious patients feel at ease. On the weekends, you can often find him hitting the pavement, going for a refreshing run to invigorate himself.
Dr Rishil Patel BDS (Hons) MJDF RCS (Eng) MClinDent (Implantology) (GDC:154292)
Dr Rishil Patel graduated from King’s College London in 2008 and completed a Senior House Officer Post in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Barts & The London Hospitals.
Dr Patel then went on to complete a Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Implants (MClinDent) at The City of London Dental School (BPP), where his main interest lies. Aside from implant dentistry, Dr Patel’s other interests include
Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery.
Reassuring patients with his gentle and kind approach is a forte of Dr Patel and he is particularly good in treating anxious patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr Patel enjoys cricket, travelling and spending time with his family and children.
Dr. Sapna Bhattessa, Associate Dentist BDS (WALES) MFGDP (UK) (GDC:74632)
Dr. Sapna Bhattessa, Associate Dentist, embarked on her dental career in 1998. She boasts expertise in diverse dental techniques, encompassing aesthetics and general procedures such as tooth-coloured fillings, whitening, veneers, and endodontics.
Certified as an Invisalign and Six Months Smiles Provider, she adeptly administers anti-wrinkle treatments. Dr. Bhattessa holds diplomas in General Dental Practice and Cosmetic Restorative Dentistry. Currently pursuing a certificate in endodontics, she aims to broaden her skill set.
Outside dentistry, she’s an avid traveller, dedicates time to personal growth through reading, and cherishes moments with family. Her gentle approach puts nervous patients and children at ease, prioritising prevention, patient education, and tailored care.
Dr. Shaleeza A Makhani BDS (LOND) 2013 MFDS (ED) (GDC:244389)
Dr. Shaleeza A Makhani graduated from King’s College London in 2013 and is a proud member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
With over a decade of dedicated service in General Practice, Dr. Makhani has honed her expertise through extensive postgraduate training in various dental facets, including Invisalign and advanced restorative dentistry.
Currently pursuing a PG Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry, Dr. Makhani finds joy in boosting her patients’ confidence with radiant smiles and alleviating dental anxieties with her friendly and compassionate care.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds solace in baking, globetrotting, and cherishing moments with her loved ones.
Vanisha Patel (GDC:272249)
Dr. Vanisha Patel qualified in 2017 from Prague and has since continued to refine her skills through a range of advanced courses. She enjoys all aspects of oral surgery and restorative dentistry, bringing a meticulous eye for detail and a gentle, patient-focused approach to every appointment. Known for her calming presence, Dr. Vanisha excels at putting nervous patients and children at ease. Outside the clinic, she enjoys yoga, swimming, reading, and discovering new places through travel—always seeking balance, wellness, and inspiration beyond the dental chair.

Rosy is our dedicated dental hygienist, she Initially qualified as a dentist from Kings College London in 2005, Rosy discovered her true passion in treating gum disease, leading her to concentrate her career as a dental hygienist. Joining our team in 2019, Rosy excels in managing advanced gum disease and takes pride in crafting healthy, naturally beautiful smiles. With a background as a qualified dentist, she seamlessly collaborates with our dental team for comprehensive patient care. Beyond dentistry, Rosy enjoys travel, cooking, and kickboxing.
Alicia Dip Dent Hyg, RCS ENG (GDC:244880)
Alicia is our skilled dental hygienist with a unique journey. Initially qualified as a barrister, she later chose to pursue a career in dental hygiene due to a family background in Dentistry. Completing her training at UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London, Alicia joined Dentistry At 388 in 2013. Her focus on making patients feel relaxed, coupled with a gentle and methodical approach to treatment, ensures effective care in achieving and maintaining a healthy, beautiful smile. With a diverse background and caring nature, Alicia brings a compassionate touch to your dental experience at Dentistry At 388.

Rebecca, our esteemed and experienced Dental Nurse, brings 29 years of dedicated nursing expertise to our dental team. Renowned for her exceptional ability to comfort and care for anxious patients, Rebecca ensures every visit is as relaxing and stress-free as possible. Outside the clinic, Rebecca’s passions include delving into the world of literature, exploring nature through invigorating walks, and indulging in culinary adventures as a self-proclaimed foodie. She thrives on the adrenaline of extreme sports and the excitement of traveling to new and exotic destinations. Shreeya is a qualified Dental Nurse who works four days a week, bringing care, precision, and a calm presence to every patient interaction. Outside the clinic, she enjoys discovering new food spots and cherishing quality time with friends and family. Deeply rooted in her local church community, she plays an active role in supporting local initiatives, organising fundraisers, and contributing to charity events. Giving back to causes close to her heart is a meaningful part of her life, and she brings that same compassion into her work each day.

Lauren, our dynamic receptionist and trainee dental nurse at Dentistry at 388. Juggling the roles of a busy mum of two, Lauren brings a genuine and friendly touch to our dental family. When she’s not expertly managing the front desk or assisting in dental care, Lauren immerses herself in the joys of motherhood. Her interests include leisurely walks and enthusiastically cheering on her kids as they play football. With Lauren’s nurturing spirit, every visit to our clinic is greeted with warmth, making your dental experience a comfortable and friendly one
Dee
Dee works two days a week as a receptionist, where her welcoming nature and friendly smile help create a positive first impression for every visitor. The rest of the week, she devotes her time to looking after her beloved grandchildren, a role she treasures deeply. A true people person, she loves socialising, travelling, and embracing new experiences. Whether she’s exploring a new destination or catching up with family and friends, she thrives on connection and bringing joy to those around her.
Lynda
Lynda works three days a week, bringing dedication and warmth to everything she does. Outside of work, she enjoys getting her hands dirty in the garden, finding joy in watching her plants thrive. A passionate Formula 1 fan, she rarely misses a race and loves the thrill of the sport. Lynda also cherishes time spent with family and friends and has a deep love for travelling—always eager to explore new places and create lasting memories along the way.
